THINGS THAT ARE TO BRING WITH YOU OR SEND AND WE REALLY NEED 

Due to popular demand, here is a mish-mash wish list to help the willing decide what they would like to do/give/buy/bring for ACODO. From big things all the way down to unexciting practical needs. Any of the following would be gratefully and humbly received.

These are the things we constantly need but are easy and inexpensive to get once you are here:
  
Food Sustenance: rice (50 kg or more is better) (we are facing the lack of food sustenance), noodle, canned fish, etc.

Cooking  Ingredients: cooking oil, seasoning, sugar, salt, soy sauce, fish sauce, etc.
 
Cleaning Products: bathroom cleaner, dish washing liquid, sponges, cloths and washing  powder, etc.

Hygiene Products: shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair combs, hair brushes, etc. 
 Note: Food Sustenance, Cooking Ingredients, Cleaning Products, and Hygiene Products are always needed a lot daily in the orphanage.

Children's Supplies: flip-flops, blankets, mattresses, pillows, shorts/pants, T-shirts, shirts, bath towels, belts, etc.  
 
Study Supplies: school uniforms (white shirt and blue shorts/pants/skirts), school bags, whiteboard markers, graph lined exercise books for Khmer school, pens, pencils, rubbers, rulers, etc.

Stationery & Office Supplies: printing pappers (A4), staplers & staples, files, ring binders, folders, hole punches, rubber stamps, tape dispenders, drawing pins, pushpins, Bolldog clip, papper clips, clipboards, etc. 


BIG THINGS

Office Equipments: computers, printers, office desks, printing paper (A4), etc.

Vocational Training Supplies: sewing maschines, carving tools, etc.

Pickup – approx US $27,000 USD (to do mission in another branch in Oddar Meanchey Province),

Truck - approx $15,500 USD (to be used for a mobile stage to do fundraising show out of the orphanage and find donations from the local people instead during the low season

THINGS YOU COULD BRING/SEND FROM YOUR OWN COUNTRY

Bringing things mentioned above from your own country that you feel appropriate would also be needed. New or used/old things are available.  

THINGS THAT ARE NOT SUCH A GOOD IDEA TO BRING OR SEND

Skimpy revealing clothes, miniskirts, halter necks, low cut tops (Khmer style is too shy and modest)

Synthetic clothes (weather is too hot and sticky) 

Playing cards (too reminiscent of the gambling games that contributed to their families demise)

HOW TO MAKE YOUR DONATIONS TO ACODO
 
You can send the cash donation to ACODO via MoneyGram or ACODO Bank Account. Please e-mail us at info@acodo.org to let us know your name and other available information after making your generous donations. We will weep in touch and send you the Credit Advice from the bank. This is to make sure we receive your donations.

MoneyGram is the best way to send the money as it is cheap, easy and fast. We get your donations in a minute as soon as you make the donatons. The transfer amount is available with MoneyGram between $1 and $899.00 USD. Please note some necessary information required in the transfer form as bellow:
