ACODO is under water at midnight on Tuesday, 29 September, 2009 as soon as there is a heavy rain and and it caused a flood. Many places around the town near Siem Reap river are under water including ACODO orphanage located on the way to Tonle Sap lake, Phnom Krom.

New shelters for the children are needed now after being moved to the new place
The orphanage currently needs to raise $US16,674.8USD to build a double story four bedroom accommodation for the children, who presently sleep on the stage and floor of the visitors area each night. The recreation area is a patch of open ground with a couple of trees for shade. If this all sounds primitive, it is the children's only available source of accommodation, food, care and education.

Vocational Training Centre

Children's Shelter
Our current orphange is too small for 68 children to stay. It is now shared with the headquarters because we haven't had any funds to support our projects yet. We still lack the space big enough for the children to stay so we plan to buy a large land arround three hectares and build the orphange for all the children.
