New shelters for the children are needed now after being moved to the new place  
The orphanage currently needs to raise $US16,674.8USD to build a double story four bedroom accommodation for the children, who presently sleep on the stage and floor of the visitors area each night. The recreation area is a patch of open ground with a couple of trees for shade. If this all sounds primitive, it is the children's only available source of accommodation, food, care and education.   Read More

Vocational Training Centre 
ACODO is now planning to build a Khmer traditional dance training centre. The building will be started on the 15th of January 2009 and it will be finished on the 1st of February and it costs US $6,214.65. Workshop for Vocational Training Centre 
The workshop is located in ACODO headquarters. Khmer Traditional Dancing Stage 
The stage was donated by John J Meehan from Ireland during his five-weeks volunteering at ACODO. About the vagabonds 
Vagabonds’ home is in difficult situation and poor living standard. The vagabonds are supported by ACODO. They are also provided provide with accomodation, meals three times per day, education both in state school (Khmer study) and ACODO (life skill and vocational skill). About the teachers 
All of the teachers in ACODO are foreigners from other countries in the world. They have volunteered to teach the orphans without any benefit at all. ACODO Children 
All of the children who were selected to be taken care of by ACODO are all orphans and street children who have no home, parents or relatives to look after them because their parents have divorced or passed away by HIV/AIDS and/or relatives separated from their families. Children's Shelter 
Our current orphange is too small for 68 children to stay. It is now shared with the headquarters because we haven't had any funds to support our projects yet. We still lack the space big enough for the children to stay so we plan to buy a large land arround three hectares and build the orphange for all the children. ACODO has assisted street, poor, garbage children orphans, the disabled and indigent families and also provided people both children and teenagers foreign languages and specialist skills although they are not orphans and the disabled staying in ACODO to respond to the lack of informal education in Cambodia.

Foreign languages are English, Japanese, Korean, and German. Specialist skills or short courses are Hotel and tourism, Hotel Accounting, Front office, Food & Beverage, Restaurant and bar, Marketing Management, Management and leadership, Finance and banking, Computer course, Administration, Law, International relations, Political science, and Accounting.

Furthermore, ACODO has provided them social teaching such as Human rights education, Health Care education, and Environment education in accordance with the requirements in the society, social work.

The orphans and the disabled were assisted with meals three times a day, study supplies (books, pens, pencils, etc.) and things used daily (clothes, shoes, etc.).
 
Moreover they are assisted with study in state school and life skills (foreign languages and specialist courses) in ACODO.
